Re-wiring 24v military pumps (ie: water and trash pumps) over to civilian 110-220-reg

Gotta start somewhere, you can tell I am a newby here.

I have 15 - 18 pumps of various uses and all are wired military. Where or who can I turn to for the re-wire of all. I have just discovered my electrician who has wired for me over 25 years knows zip, nothing.

Electric motors under 20 hp are not cost effective to rewind. Unless the motors are NEMA frame, such that you could pull the motors and replace with same frame 120/240 V motors, you got pigs in the poke.
