Would it hurt to run a single wheel dish out on the rear of a deuce?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Yes but...What tobyS said. This has been discussed before and the technical recommendation was to not do it, unless you use aftermarket rims that are designed to correct the extreme offset.
Why do we care if they follow in the same track? On a duce the out side wheel will set about a half tire width wider than the front and the inside sits a half width narrower when you flip the hubs there will still be a little offset difference because the steering axle is a little wider but I think it was only 1/4 inch or less. the reason for the super single conversion is so the rear tires follow in the same track as the fronts.
Different offset on the wheels so that they have the same trackwidth. How did they get around this on the 900 series trucks?
Yes.Ok, next question are the front and rear wheels on the 900 series the same?
We get it, advertisements are annoying!
