M1156 Newly acquired - Rear wheels make a noise only when turning like they are in a bind. Checked both hubs and they are fine. Has anyone else experienced this before? Thank you.unnamed.jpg

.
Maybe you got a Marine truck that has a "locker" in the rear axle?
Is it a clicking sound when you turn hard left or right on pavement - but makes no noise on dirt?

No clicking sound...just a real rough sound when I am making a hard turn.

Have you drained the rear diff by chance and checked the fluid? If your sure the transfer case is in high, and it doesn’t look like alignment is bad, you could have issue in the differential. Fluid can tell you a lot real quick.

Both of my Humvee's make noise when turning sharp, have been for a combined 16,000 miles, I always assumed it was the Torsen diffs, the Camaro/Mustang guys complain constantly about their noisy Torsen diffs.
