Not much if you ever plan to tow anything. You can always turn the fuel back down though if you get an itch for a trailer.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
A higher pressure turbo will also cut your EGT's down.Won't do a cut out, but a better turbo is likely
Here is a link to some exhaust stuff Silverstate55 did, I especially like how he routed his exhaust to change the number of bends and reduce EGT. Someday I'd like to copy some of this myself.Agreed, the more bends and restrictions the more heat is retained. The only bends in the exhaust I did are the 3 1/2" bend off the stock turbo (where I changed to a 4") and currently the 90 at the end, which I'm switching to a 45.
The stick turbo is a big restriction.
I also really like what Silverstate55 did with the long "J" pipe. Eliminate it ! No more rusting out the bottom bend !Here is a link to some exhaust stuff Silverstate55 did, I especially like how he routed his exhaust to change the number of bends and reduce EGT. With the elimination of the J-Pipe, where does any water accumulation end up? IN THE TURBO?!?!?I also really like what Silverstate55 did with the long "J" pipe. Eliminate it ! No more rusting out the bottom bend !
On the m35a3 they eliminated the j pipe. Doesn't seem to be a problem. With the elimination of the J-Pipe, where does any water accumulation end up? IN THE TURBO?!?!?
Doesn't sound like a favorable diversion to me. IMHO.
Input????
Get a cap for the exhaust pipe top. Works great. With the elimination of the J-Pipe, where does any water accumulation end up? IN THE TURBO?!?!?

See post 91 for the link.Could someone link the thread showing how he eliminated it?
