I know some of you guys in fl. have regitered your Deuces in such a way that you don't pay the heavy charges for over 10,000 ibs trucks. Also you run the antique plates that are far cheaper.
Any help in directing me to the right web site or tips on how to make this affordable for me would be greatly appreciated
Thank you in advance
Best regards
Lindsay

The antique perminate plates have to be ordered through Tallahassee by filling out the propper paper work and mailing it in. The form can be obtained through your local tag agency. There is a website,(don't know it), to download the form but you still have to mail it in. Merry Christmas Sir!!

I agreed to NOT haul stuff or people and use the truck only to show it or keep it running.

I own a 1989 M35A2C - I see on the form theres a choice for military vehicles - fourth box - with the option of below

A Former Military Vehicle (may choose either type plate listed below, regardless of the vehicle’s age).

Would this work for the 89 vintage since its not 25 years old?
Thanks

Read through it - looks like it applys to all MVs - aside from the M35A2C the Mk48/14 will go this route too. Will be working on the paperwork in the AM.
