Ok, I was surfing for GPA info and found the archives to the Smithsonian.
Tossing this out in case someone had time to look for/ request a copy somewhere aroud DC area.
It's on the following link:
http://www.americanhistory.si.edu/archives/d4507.htm

Title is The Eager Beaver
Reel #17 (1/30/51)
The Eager Beaver! Manufacturing waterproof truck (U.S. Army Truck). Reo Manufacturing Co., Lansing, MI.

13.5 minute film on how REO makes the truck.

Some info from Smithsonian follows:

Access and Rights
Approximately 120 episodes are available for research viewing on ½" VHS reference copies: reference copies are marked "RV" after the reel numbers. The remaining episodes are still in their archival original format. The Archives Center will produce video reference copies on an "as needed" basis. When necessary, Archives Center staff will provide screening access to the archival original film, providing the film is in good condition and staff and equipment are available.

The INDUSTRY ON PARADE FILM COLLECTION, 1950-1960 is available for research viewing at the Archives Center as well as for all other standard museum and archival uses. Duplication is restricted because of complex rights issues. All duplication requests must be reviewed by the Archives Center's audio-visual archivist.

Provenance

The INDUSTRY ON PARADE FILM COLLECTION, 1950-1960 was donated to the Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources, National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution by the National Association of Manufacturers in 1974. The Collection was transferred to the Archives Center in 1994.

Just figured to archive the subject here in case someone could use it.

after a bunch of searching, it appears that you can buy a copy for a price ranging from $250 (full rights) to $150 (personal use) to $60 (museum). if anyone posesses this, i would love to see it
