thVURENNJFreverse.jpgNo tools required. It is just a plastic clip on switch that has a tab that slips into the shifter tube in the steering column. It is easily adjustable and clicks and slides into place to get the reverse lights to illuminate when the transmission/shifter/shift tube is in the reverse position. No signal from the transmission is sent to it. it just illuminates the reverse lights when properly installed and adjusted. The illustration I attached is NOT exact but it is similar. The switch is clipped on the base of the outer steering column under cluster/dash where the column exits the cab inside. Easy to fix. be patient it is plastic clips. No fasteners.
