Rhino mount pin staightening

Got a great deal on a Rhino mount and it's got a bent pin. Seems simple to replace and replacements are available (maybe someone has a spare cheap???), but has anyone straghtened one? If so, how did you do it?

My thought is heat + cheater pipe + vice might be the only way.

Heat and then straighten. Then re-heat and quench. Then keep at 700 degrees for a couple of hours and allow to cool slowly. Then polish. That is the industrial answer.

Just buy the replacement part on eBay...I replace them all the time,
no way your going to straighten that pin so it will slide into the hole, it’s just too massive.

I was really thinking the same thing, but I've "heard stories" that some have been able to repair them. I need to find the thrust washers, wrench, and the retaining pins for the wrench as well. I wish Rico was open because the hardware packs are cheap for the washers and pins...
