Is there a thread with details and location etc? Never been before and only found last years thread.

If we start the rally threads too early there could be 1000s of posts by June. Clinto usually opens them 3 or 4 months out. Same location as before Durhamtown Plantation in Union Point Ga. One of the biggest events in the country. Attendees from South America & Europe. The event grows by huge percentage every year. PM me if you want to discuss further.

Like Andy said, if we put the rally thread up now, there would literally be 1,000+ posts on it. We try to limit the # of posts in the info thread because we don't want a new forum member to sign up a week before the rally and have to read 900 posts to get up to speed.

The info thread from 2014 is 90% accurate for the 2015 event and you know the correct date.

The Ga. Rally is one of the biggest military vehicle rallies in the Country, with 131 powered military vehicles in attendance. Counting military trailers, we had over 170 vehicles. We have an authentic military kitchen trailer providing breakfast, lunch and dinner for participants. Very good trailrides and offroading, from mild to wild. We took 48 trucks on a convoy to get lunch on Saturday morning. The convoy was so long it took 4+ minutes for it to pass the photographers. Good swap meet, camping, campfires and a very friend, social group.


This year, we swapped a deuce engine in the field, swapped beds on a CUCV and replaced head gaskets on another deuce. Next year, Ferrogynecologist is bringing the gear to create the "Ga. Rally Railroad".

We've had people come from as far away as Cuba, Uraguay and the Czech Republic to attend our little get together. In addition to California, NY, Texas, West Virginia, Virginia, Louisiana, the Carolinas, Wisconsin, Michigan, etc.


There will be a thread up in the spring.
