This is the upgrade to the electric winch.
It starts out using a 2000 lbs 12 volt winch. I dont know if it would do a direct lift or not I have never tried. I use a pulley system to slow things down and give more control over the lift. It also makes the winch stronger. keep in mind cable limits. Not to exceed them.
I run the cable from the winch to a pulley at the top of the leg then back down to a pulley on the same pin used to mount the winch then run it back to the top of the leg were I hook the end of the cable. I dont know how fast it will lift my 12 volt power supply is a little week and will only run one winch at a time.
Working on fixing that problem soon. I just need to mount a deep cycle battery near the relay box.

Hear is the engine stand jack setup for any one who like to pump their jacks all day.
It limits how far down you can lower the shelter due to the way it mounts. You can only lower it down as low as the jack is tall.
It sets on a piece of box that has a tab welded to it that pins to the leg and lifts the tabs on the sockets. (The part were the winch is.)
One problem I found with the jacks is one will all ways be short and you wind up doing some unsafe rigging to get it to work.
I found the winches on sale and bought the relays online for what I have in the jacks. I still carry 2 jacks just in case but I think 2 winches on opposite sides would lift it. Ill give it a try at haspin let every one know if it works.

nice setup! I would suggest a safety loop for the pulley..if the cable come off (trough a stick-slip f.e.), the shelter may tip..

Going to a double shear pulley mount would also be an added bonus. That looks way more convenient than taking a wrecker everywhere you might want to drop the box. Very nice design and execution.
