A flying HMMWV is much better than a falling HMMWV.

As long as it is connected to the chopper it is not in flight....just being vertically towed.......release the cable...then it will be flying......of course the glide angle will be steep and the landing approach will be pretty fast.

Dang it Bob and Dave, now my secret hmmwv supply is out. Back to CL and Ebay! They buzzed my house in a pattern most of yesterday till just before midnight. Each chopper landed one in my field, left the hmmwv. Taped to the window was a SF97 form filled out in my name! lol

Anyway, training is on for next group going overseas.
