Why do you think its the CTIS?

How fast were you going?
What was the condition of the tire prior to the failure?
Any idea what the tire pressure was?
Did your side walls hit any debris?

LOL, uh, it has ctis so it was the best line i could come up with.
To sum up your questions-
speed- i would assume 55
condition- i would assume near new
pressure- who knows
debri- didnt see any

Uncle Sam still owns this one guys, thats why i thought it strange this would happen.

Shame on Uncle Sam. Where is the support vehicle? Bummer for the driver.
Acording to the note support would be there in the morning. I was out of Ft Custer in Battle Creek.
This is the second time I have come across a broken down MV that uncle sam owns within the last year. The last one needed slaved after they shut it down @ McDonalds in poterville. I offered to get my cables but they said they would rather be there than in Grayling. lol.

Low air pressure in the tire, the tire got hot, and the tread separated from the casing.

I'd say the flux capacitor surged.....

That or sunspots off the coast of Madagascar....
Although those just generally give me gas.

Wonder how far they drove it after that tire gave out? They just left it on the side of the road with a note? That's one method I guess.
