I am sure you could just leave the AC plugged, which is what I plan to do.Nice. My vent controls are screwed up (stuck on full heat, but fan control works). I could go in there and fix them but then I could buy one of those NOS HVAC setups like you did and gain the A/C side... but I am not interested in dealing with A/C right now. From the looks of yours, do you think I could install it but keep the A/C lines plugged and just use it for heat? Then deal with A/C maybe some other time?
Depending on when you need your heat, I'll be removing mine and I don't think I'll be replacing it with a military system. Mine just has heat. Works great though.Nice. Any flasher issues? Did you have to change that?I just bought led bulbs off the shelf. Perfect fit.
Can you post a link to the bulb you purchased please? No problems. Just plugged right in and flashed normal. Weirdest looking led I have ever seen. I think it has resisters built into it.
They are roughly 10 times brighter than stock.I've wondered about those bulbs. They are designed to be used in a housing with a reflector, which is why the LED actually faces back. I hesitated to buy them, thinking they wouldn't project enough light toward traffic.
could add some reflective silver tape to the back inside of the housing?I've wondered about those bulbs. They are designed to be used in a housing with a reflector, which is why the LED actually faces back. I hesitated to buy them, thinking they wouldn't project enough light toward traffic.
I might spray some of the "chrome" spray paintcould add some reflective silver tape to the back inside of the housing?
