5653 you will have problems with, it did not have a slave cable recepticle. You could try to pull start it, no cargo cover, but it has bows in the back.

73 started, rusty hood, new tires, heater, bench seat, dip stick messed up- all bent up, hard to get back in.

76 no notes

Well, i mean if there is one younger than 15, I will tip my hat to them!
Is the account you bid under listed under your Dad's name or something? The reason I ask is because if the account is in your name, you may run into trouble with your EUC and your DL copy ;-).

Yes sir! its actually my mothers name.
Good deal. Maybe she will let you ride in it when she get's it. Just kidding :-D.

I owned a 1 ton Chevy and a C60 GMC when I was 15. Couldn't drive either legally but I got by ;-) . Wouldn't do it nowdays though because they are alot harder on you if you get caught (or have a wreck). I don't think there's anything wrong with owning a deuce at that age if you can afford it.

Yeah well, where i live i don't think I'll have any problems when I'm 16, except insurance, that's going to run me up the wall, current comp wont insure me.. :(

And haha, my ma didn't approve of me getting it in the first place!

So now that I know the canvas is torn, how well does the inside hold up to weather?
Pretty well accually. These trucks are made to get wet on the inside and fair pretty well if it's not been uncovered for a long time. Nothing a little paint and some new seat covers can't fix if it's weathered alot.

Well at least I'm not to worried about the seats. I was leaning towards upgrading the seats anyways. Now I have an excuse.

Info on 12 and 62

I am new to the addiction and ended up with two: 5612 and 5662. I would appreciate any notes on these two. Thanks.

New from Vassar! Hello! I grew up there, Albrect's auction has a nice looking truck sitting in their lot I just saw it when I went to the car show Saturday. I wonder what that will go for?

Thanks for the welcome. I will check the Vassar truck out tomorrow and am really looking forword to getting my two home. I did preview these but could have done a better job. Three things were againsed me in this respect: I tried to see them all, It was Hot!, and the bees. That is why I am looking for any notes on 12 (soft top) and 62 (hard top).

Thanks for your input Bob H. I appreciate knowing about the brakes. I do not have far to go and access to a towbar and another Deuce owner in Vassar to help me recover my treasures.
