I know I'm a newbee to the site and really dont know much about the military trucks , ( bit I have been turning wrenches for 40 years.. ) So I dont want to sound like some know it all. But I thought I'd share the idea I had for a shifter boot(s) , a few commented about a picture I posted of the trans boot I used. It is a boot for a roof vent pipe, that has a flexable metal base to conform to bends ( more Lowes etc ) The one I used for the transfer-case came off a 88 dodge ram 4x4 transfer case & it abosolutely fits like it was made just for it Perfect..( yes it needs cleaning) Just thought I'd share...

Thank you, Kenny. You guys can't know how much I appreciate a good word sometimes. The world is getting harder to handle every day. You know how I work for the Amish guys up here at home, even they are feeling the economic crunch. We ran out of work this week and the winter isn't even here yet. it is going to be a bad year ahead. Any way, The winter boots are always in stock, wth meteal retainers. PM me, John Tennis or Jatonka

Hey John, I didn't know you had the retainers too:roll: I ended up making mine. Guess it gave me something to do.
