Yes they are about the size of the 16.00R20s. I just threw them on to see how they fit, Im getting the rest of the wheels blasted and powder coated.
Your plan is put the same tires from the front on all six? I'd like to see some photos once you bolt them on, that think will practically float on mud with those wide treads. Awesome.

with the dolly M62 or Kraz. without the dolly M54 tractor unit. (Mini Roundabouts (doghnuts) in the middle of the road here in U.K.) Are negotiated on the same side of the road as you guys! ((the right!)) The deck "rolls" out and down for loading. (pushed by the towing vehicle) and pulled back when loaded. (Gaurd at back rises as bed lowers ,drops when pulled back, acts as stepping ramp). The headboard lowers forward giving 47 foot deck.
NICE!

Wait wait wait.... 47 FEET?? 14.33 meters??? :-D

I was worried about the width of the M1101 but it's only about 6" wider than my F250 on each side and narrower than my mirrors, and has a LOT more floor space than an M101 (and I mean a LOT...) with built in tie down points in the floor. The top attaches in a much more user friendly manner and is better constructed, the bows are easier to install as well. Even though it's bigger than an M101 it's only 100lb heavier empty, and you could ditch the HMMWV wheels/tires and runflats for lighter M101A2 wheels/tires to make up that weight if that is a worry for you (of course that will reduce stability and floatation on loose soil). The only area in which I feel the M101 is better is the wood/fiberglass lattice sides that extend above the bed sides. If a load more than 12" high shifts it could poke through the vinyl cover or fall out with no cover on it at all, and I think the metal loop style bows are more easily damaged by trees or whatnot. That said, I still want one!

I'm just towing it with my Xterra, I am thinking of stripping down (removing axle, spring packs, brakes, and surge brake and replacing with lighter parts) and building in to expedition trailer. I pick this trailer up for $150.00.

Where was this one? A friend of mine has just won one in PA - he's going to use the unit on his F450 for road side repairs/servicing - tractor trailers and farm calls etc. I am going to use the trailer to mount a big compressor/MEP-003/blast pot.

This is my newest addition. I've been toying with the idea of turning it into an off road expedition trailer with slide out kitchen, on demand hot water shower & a roof top tent, like the ones you see on expeditionportal.com but I find it soo difficult not to restore it to original condition. Maybe I'll compromise and do both!
