So after 6 years of saving up I bought a BRDM2...

Pics incoming when it gets here on thursday, but here's the low down on what I have and have to do:

Iraqi captured BRDM2 in excellent condition. Pretty much 100% complete.

Clutch is out (needs to be adjusted/resurfaced/replaced)
PTO is stuck in ON, so propeller turns constantly
Brakes are out

Easy stuff.

I have a wedding this needs to be ready for in May. Complete service-new belts, oil, hydraulic fluid, paint, tag and title, everything by then.

I also need to pick up a 5-ton to tow it around PLUS get my class A dl.

Where are the pictures, Marine?

You might contact Earl Tucker at Int'l Repo Depo in Waller, he has/had a couple of these, he would be a good source for knowledge and perhaps parts. I meant to take a picture of his next to my V100 when it was at his place, but neglected to do so. (Need an icon for kicking oneself in the rear...)
