The M345 has been mentioned, here's mine below. Believe me, it's very tall!! You can see from the photos, that it's taller than the deuce bed. It was designed for crane-shovel attachments. It was designed to have equipment lifted on and off.

I plan on using it behind my XM816. I'd hate to be sitting on a cat up on this this thing. Or going up and down tall ramps. I agree a lowbed of some sort would be much better. Using a dock might be ok.

It has a maximum payload of 10 Tons. It's a 1952 Eidal. Brakes are original full air.

i would NEVER use a 4 wheel, steering axle trailer, unless as a LAST resort, going forward is simple, backing up with a deuce or 5t will bring words and thoughts that you didn't know existed

If anyone needs trailer lessons contact M813A1. On Monday, I saw him back a M198 dolly and M871 flatbed about 100 yards uphil on a curvy road. Not a task for amateurs!
