Finishing up my transmission, got to the step of installing the rear main shaft bearing retainer, when I do it locks up the countershaft and input shaft. I am definatly missing something. Need some help from the group mind.
If you can post some pics or video. If you took everything out for rebuild make sure none of your roller bearing fell out while reinstalling also make sure you used gasket paper for retainer and rear seal housing. Im not sure without seeing it what else to suggest.
Okay, figured it out. Reread the directions one thing not covered in print but was shown in the illustration was the position of the first reverse slider gear. Following the picture everything fell together smoothly.
