Square Holes in M105 Bed

Both of my M105 trailers have a set of square holes in both sides and the front bed side. I have been meaning to ask for a long time now what those holes could possibly be for. Anybody know?

Does anyone have the buil prints for these?? The ones that the people that build them for the military use to build them???? Maybe DD needs to write a book on these.?.

The are drain holes. Nothing more.

Well The last time I was at Ft Bragg I ask the GL guy whom is a retired motor pool Mechanic. Looked at he and said Square Bullets. Or for round pegs. Then said he had no Idea. If the mystery is solved will I get the $64,000.00

Seriously, they may be jig holes for holding the panels in place while the welding or forming was done. That's my best guess.

above the top most corners of the wheel well.. They are on both sides.. About 1x1 inch

There are 2 on the front and rear also. I have 6 trailers and they all have them, diferent makes and years all the same.

They are like the circle holes on the bumpers of M135 & M211 trucks; to reduce weight.

I love Prime Portal! Maybe they are for a system that was designed to seperate the trailer into 9 different compartments for some odd use? The holes are about the same size as the ones in the holders for the ends that are on the sides of the trailer...see the PP pic above.
