OK got here fixed. 
My local surplus guy had a new original stater still sealed in the box. I got to cut it out of the foam! Sticker on the box indicated that it was packages 12/85. Price was $348 including tax. I wish they were cheaper but it is about the same price as NAPA if you don't turn the core back into them. I didn't have to turn my core in so I am going to take it to a shop he recommended and have it rebuilt. Then I will have a spare for future emergencies.
