Starter Relay Voltages

Need some help here what are the voltages I should be seeing at the relay(doghead modification done) when the ignition switch is turned on, I have 25.7V at the RED wire on the relay but only getting around 20.3V at the PURPLE wire when I go to start, it seems a little anemic, is that right or should I be seeing more there. Sounds like your ground wire isn't doing its job or the relay is bad. There should be very little if any voltage loss across the relay.

Thanks thats what I thought but wasnt sure Ill clean up all my ground and test it as soon as it stops raining. Cheers, Scott O&O
