This reminds me of our local elections voting. Last night we elected a new Mayor and out of a population of 200,000, only a little over 26,000 voted. Of course not everyone is eligible to vote AND picture I'D is required so a lot of dead folks didn't get to vote.rofl

Yes, at half time 45 voters is not enought for a representive survey.:clinto:

We campaign this month our 1987 FLU419.
Some modifications required for road use in our area like turn signals, rear lights, speedo scale, flagged loader, amber side reflectors.
Try to let the original parts in place.

Well, I'm not a big campaigner, but heres a few pics.2018-05-23 07.55.56.jpg got it with thos flat bed on it, had some fun with it. 2018-05-23 07.56.46.jpg2018-05-23 07.57.14.jpg cleared some trees, that was a hoot, 2018-05-23 07.57.51.jpg
I liked the flatbed, but wanted sides and love the short cargo look. Off with the flat bed, 2018-05-23 07.58.29.jpg on with the dropside. 2018-05-23 07.59.03.jpg

It´s not bad that you need no jack to change the tires.
Use your own hydr.system to get the lugs off with the impact driver.

View attachment 7296041951-Chevy-pickup-main.jpg The cab of the Opel Blitz, looks somewhat similar to a 1950-54 Chevrolet truck. Coincidence? If I remember correctly didn't GM own Opel until a few years ago?

To work on the FLU 419 SEE engine is not so easy as on the MAN F2000 truck (mechanic-hydraulic cap tilting pump/ like a hydr.jack)

To tilt the cabin of a SEE you must take off the loader and better the excavator, operators lever/linkage, FOPS, spare tire and some mounting plates.
Only a few sheets of the TM´s it´s done.:-D

Think we bring you a little bit more information about this unique MV of the late 80th.

Vote for Migginsbros Freightliner UNIMOG.
This versatile vehicle spend his retirement with little work and great fun in the gravel pit.
Much better than sitting for years in the backyards.:driver::driver:

Thanks to all that voted. Yea wish it did not just sit in my back yard. I had plans for her but after waking up in the hospital everything seems to have stopped in my world thanks to the Gashole that ran the stop sign.
