You have to bolt on the carried equipment used as a front bumper (by hand) and you have to lay the mast ( by hydraulic) between the 2 !! seats/cabins. And yes.... it´s an adventure to drive the streets with the other cars and trucks with your rear axel steering and without suspension at over 32+ miles/h  (y)

regarding no suspension..I guess that for forking, it makes sense as you want it to be the same front height/ride no matter whether its empty or lumping a extra-big full container knowing that its likely certain people get quite used to 'their' tractor to the point that eventually they could pick up a big box and stuff it into the middle shelf of a warehouse aisle in a quite rapid nonstop motion without ever 'noticing' that they barely had half an inch clearance .. or mm yeah you know where "can do it in my sleep" more literally comes from

I'm very impressed with the functionality and current usefulness of the other vehicles! Unfortunately, mine was ridden hard while on active service and then abused again during the demil process. It now resides peacefully and protectively in my half of the garage. It was carefully and painstakingly repaired, refitted, and restored. No chores, jobs, or tasks are asked of it now but rather displays, parades, benefits, or simple errand runs. The M1151A1 served this country dutifully. It will continue to serve, just in a different capacity and at a much slower pace.

Fabricated up my own M2HB. It’s dimensionally correct and looks pretty realistic from 20+ feet away
Nice !! I was gonna make a couple on the metal lathe from wood (and steel) but I like your idea much better !!!

Looks like PVC thus does the barrel wobble when moving the vehicle? People are gonna think the barrel was overheated and lost it's temper :D

One piece barrel to buffer using properly sized hole saw (fine tune using files). Heat shield/guard screwed into pvc pipe adapter underneath. Little to no movement. Kreg screws look like rivets from afar and add realism.
