@canadacountry this forklift was introduced in the 80th at Nürburgring racetrack. It´s streetlegal and speed is 32 miles/h +. a serie of nearly 600 were delivered to the forces.
But more about this piece of steel perhaps next month at MVOTM November

Till then ......there is a Unimog aircraft tug crew cab at the race.

There is a diesel heater under the backseat which also heats the engine and cooling system.

When that 900 series hits 70+ years old and has sat neglected in a field for a couple decades, gets dragged out ,fired up, rust fixed, new tires, new paint it too will deserve to be looked at as a survivor and not beat around like a day to day hauler. Just my opinion

This Unimog was build in 1975 . She has a 6 in line direct injected diesel engine named OM352.
The trany has 6 foreward and 2 reverse and is equipped with a torque converter for jerkfree towing. You can shift from 2 to 4 wheeldrive or all 4 locked. You have a hydraulic circuit to run snowplow, brush or others. You have compressed air for air braked trailers althought the hydraulic brakes of the truck (4 discs) are using the air only as assistance.
