Steering wheel removal.

I`m restoring 1966 A2 that was sitting outside for a decade so there is a lot of surface corrosion.
Any tips as how to remove steering wheel that is corroded/rusted into steering column?

Here’s what the military steering wheel puller looks like. Something like this and some heat will probably do it.

Thanks.I`ll try to rig up something from large C clamp.

A civilian puller will work too. just protect the middle shaft/threads. Don't forget the PB Blaster.
BTW no such thing as a '66 A2.
