Sticky Accelerator pedal

Trying to resolve a sticky accelerator pedal. Cable is new and the spring is in place at the block.

Have you checked the throttle lock? I have see it make a pedal sticky before.

I agree with the throttle lock. It can really hang up a peddle! Other than that, make sure everything is secure correctly (including throttle lock bracket where it attaches to the steering column bolts at fire wall) and the peddle assembly through the fire wall is in serviceable condition.
