When I was in we used a soap bar but this would look better. Do you get it locally? If so, where?

Candle wax works good. Bees wax works better. Rub a little onto zipper teeth, then run the zipper up and down a couple of times and clean off any excess wax.

....and once you get them lubed.... a little squeeze with some needle nose pliers or a spread with a tiny screw driver will get the spacing on the blunt end of the slider re-set for a smooth pull. They tend to widen out and the proper spacing improves mileage.

They are suggesting "Food Grade Silicone" just in case you undo the zipper with your teeth.

The military used to issue beeswax in a paper wrapped like an overgrown crayon. Worked wonders, cheap, and available almost anywhere.
