Wow, lots of people in a bad mood today...just saying
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
You mean you don't just put on a cheater bar and jump up and down on it?Without the TM, how were you going to torque the nuts properly?
It will once you do it.You mean I have to remove the studs to get the inner wheel off?
That dosn't seam right??
Just trying to help, but the -10 I downloaded from this site mentions torque three times, but nowhere does it say to what that torque should be, other than "notifying your supervisor" it needs torqued.Without the TM, how were you going to torque the nuts properly?
bud I think your taking it way to harsh. Do you realize how close you came to seeing your insides ? I don't want to sound like a dick but if you have never worked on big trucks before doing so by yourself is a good way to end up dead. Everything on that thing can kill you by either exploding or just by the weight of the part falling on you. Do us all a favor and read the TM's and save out hobby from being taken away from usI appreciate all the help. I MADE A STUPID MISTAKE. I spend most of my time working for a living, I can't spend the rest of my life reading hundreds of pages of tm"s like some of you. I do have a life other then this old army truck. I am sorry that I am not as perfect as everyone else. unfortunately alot of you guys have nothing better to do then read books, and chastise fellow mv brothers that just ain't as smart as they are. Sorry to waste your time, apparently I am not worthy of this web sight, or it might be the other way around.
This is getting old now, I know what a split rim can do. They are not the only people that know of tragedy's of a split rim. Alot of these guys spend way to much time reading books and dreaming that they are really doing the work, unfortunately they can't, and the only thing they can do is relike a school teacher)ad about it ( THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP, but try to remember about the people who love the mv's and are not as book smart as the ones who really think they are.[/QUOTE]
These are real nice comments about the people your asking for help . After looking at your other threads you have started , you have had this truck since at least 2009 , it's not that much to expect you to have at least read the -10 series manauls . They are wrote for a 18 year old kid with no mechanical background to understand and they are expected to read them before operating one of these 14,000 pound beasts . In the time you have spent on here arguing and belittling the very people your asking for assistance from , you could have read the -10 series TM. Hoprfully at somepoint over the last 3 1/2 or 4 years you have taken this truck to someone qualified to inspect the brake system , if for no other reason for the saftey of the other people on the road with you.
