support bar for transfer case for the m1028

Is the military cucv suppose to have the support bar that bolts to the transfer case by 2 bolts? Does anybody have an extra that they are willing to part with?

Don't think the military used them. I haven't seen any or even seen a truck that looks like it had one. Civilian models had them though. Your local salvage yard shoud have one. Did you ever get that t-cae problem figured out?

Yea I slapped some JB fix it all weld on it and put it in. The old one I would like to have rebuilt and maybe put that support in just to keep from having future problems.

Glad to hear it worked out. Yeah, they had a pretty bad design flaw using that round bolt pattern and no support bar.
