Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to deal with it? Can't reach in there to scrub it out but painting over it seems like a waste of time too since it'll just come back up again.
should see my stake pockets they have no drain holes so lots of rust have a little patching to do will probly add some drain holes now while i am at it
wire brushed them out and coated it in rust converter untill i can paint the entire truck
I would trying a wire brush on a stick fastened by screws followed by sand paper nailed to a stick.Sand blasting in a blind hole would be a adventure in my opinion. Try foam brushes or painter's pads for phosphoric treatment or paint. Spray paint will never cover that far down in a tube. Mark Sergent
