Hey all you smart hot shots, I was talking about flat hauling a deuce, I know three people down in Georgia who do it so yep, they can do it, why can't you? They are Steel Soldiers members in there too who are just or way more respected than newbies or corporals or whatever. I wasn't going to count his block loads as one trip, seriously? Common sense would apply here than everyone trying to prove they are the safety ranger or smartest kid in the room. I don't think the person asking this question would be that stupid to pull 45ooolb or more with a deuce, he said deuce, not a 10 ton road tractor.:cookoo::cookoo::cookoo:

2.5 tons=5000 pounds......you can go up to 8000 and allow a fudge factor.

Rent or borrow a heavy duty 2 axle tag trailer (with air brakes) and put another 8000 on it.

That 16K per load......take it easy and make enough trips to do the job safely.

apologies

I have trouble understanding things sometimes. I got caught up in a vision of what type of tow-bar that is being used to tow a Deuce. I have seen a Military a military tow-bar in a picture once. I have tried to buy one but they cost so much, and they are not an easy item to locate.

You are right I have only had my Deuce for less than a month. I haven't changed the oil yet. The temperatures here reach 120 in the sun everyday, and I have only had to cut the grass three times this summer.

I figured if the trailer and brakes could hold the weight the Deuce could pull it. I can understand being wrong about so much weight. It really is my first time, and I am here to learn.
