Got my first Deuce...I love it. It is pretty clean. Little bit of rust here and there but the cab is spotless. It does not run. PO could not get it to start. He messed with teh fuel shut off. He said it was stuck bad. He got it to move but thinks he broke it. He said the truck started and ran high. He said it looked like a sleeve around it that cracked. He said he was not sure he put it back together right so I guess I will pull the cover off and see what's going on but he did say nothing fell in the pump...That is good...

Good luck getting the big Tonka Toy started . On my M35a2, I have to use air on the fuel tank to prime her if she sits a while because the booster pump does not work yet. I have fun driving as my shins are longer than the space between the pedals and the steering wheel rim . Make you up a build/own picture book on paper or computer to preserve truck's history.

Ok PO said the shutoff was stuck. Upon moving it back and forth he said the "sleeve cracked ??"
Nothing fell in the IP. He said he put it back together but it was racing when he started it and I should fix it before startin it . What is he talking about ? It is under the cover where the fuel shutoff lever is . I will take the cover off tonight.

If you already love your truck and you have not even heard it run, yet, just wait until you get to drive it! Your wife/gf will report you missing!

 Well that must be some kind of record. It went from just arrived at home but not running, to ruined motor in less than 24 hours?

Sorry to hear about your truck. Hopefully it's not as bad as you think it is. What's the story?
