Well, I got a couple of pics and some video too. Ill try to get the video up tonight but attached are a couple of the pics. I have a few more pics in the camera but lost the cord to it somewhere so that will have to wait. I had a great time and really enjoyed the trailride. Lots of great views and it was a little more than just a dirt road on the way up while not being a difficult trail. I think the trail was a perfect compromise. Hats off to Clinto for getting it off the ground, Devilman96 for stepping up and sponsoring the event and BFR for doing the trail ride and finding us woodsmen a great place to camp. Don't know if I could make it every year but I'd sure like to. Another hats off to everyone for attending and making it a great turnout. The Steel Soldiers express was out in force and parts were going in a hundred directions for those in attendance and those who weren't. Just a great time for all.
I have lots of great pictures that I will get up soon. One question first, some of my pictures show the kids having a great time at the playground and in the trucks. From my tractor club experience I know some parents don't want pics of their kids on the internet. Alpharomeo, I am sure some of these are yours. Are there any objections to posting them??? I will not put any of them up until I get the OK. I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting all of you. We might be MV nuts but from what I saw we are really great people. Clinto, thank you for all you did putting this great event together.
Absolutely Awesome!
I love deuces in the woods. I am so glad it went so well and thanks to all of you for posting pictures. Please keep them coming it make me feel at home
Clint thanks for setting this up and for your service to the Steel Soldiers. I am headed up to Seoul this weekend and will try to snap some pictures of Korean Military Vehicles at one of the bases I go by. I can't get over how good the pictures look when I get time I am gonna copy a few to come up on my screensaver.
Very nice photos guys! Looks like a good time had by all.
That tan M101A2 looks familiar! I didnt know Wayne was going with his Pinz.. Who had the M37 with the Michilens on it? That is a very nice looking truck.
I will have to make this next year... Wish you all were closer..
Thanks to everyone for a great time. It was well worth the fuel, time, ect. to make the trip up from Orlando. The Pinz did great on the trip. Nice part of the country, friendly people, and the weather was fantastic. Hope to see most of you again in Feb. for the Florida rally!
I see you did some trailer delivery on the way back.. Glad that worked out. Did you have to pick it up at Andy's house or did he pull it there on the dolly? Those two rigs look good together..
Folks, here are the videos I took. The trailride is in 4 parts and the others are one of the primitive campsite and the other of wrecker work. Enjoy. Lane, I got it at Andy's house. Did look good eh? Here's a daytime shot
