Forgive me if I missed it, is there a dedicated vendor area or is it just get a camping spot and set your stuff out?
Ok guys, sorry this took so long. I am trying to get everything done I need to get done and I haven't even driven my truck in a month, let alone serviced it.
but
Ok, so here's the basics:
There is a dedicated area we're taking for the event. Big flat field with nice gravel and a big awning for shade from sun, wind, rain.
Typically, Windrock doesn't have people staying at this area, as it's for events and they have separate camping and cabin/RV areas.
However, I've explained the unique nature of our event and they've been accommodating so far. I explained that many of our swap meet vendors camping rig is also their selling rig, plus a lot of vendors would like to stay close to their stuff, for obvious reasons.
Windrock has agreed to allow swap meet vendors to camp in the area. I have also explained that because the event sort of uses the swap meet as ground zero and then the vehicles on display and general socializing areas surround it. They have been willing to allow non-vendors to camp in the area, as long as any relevant camping fees are paid.
So I think this issue is handled.
I do want to make something clear:
This is our first year at a new facility and we're a weird event - most events are very traditional. We have vehicles on display, swap meet, someone's always working on a repair of some sort, etc. So this first year is going to be a steep learning curve. We're going to learn about how Windrock runs and they're gonna' learn how we run and hopefully everybody has a good time and we can return in 2023 and everyone will know how everything works.
But I do ask that everyone be patient with Windrock, as there are bound to be hiccups in our first year.
