You'll probably want to use an M101A2 bed on that truck. M105 bed is 10ft log (vs 8ft on M101) and the M101A2 wheelwell width will work better for you than the A3.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
I have tried this to no avail(the search function is not working for me right now). I am sure that it has been discussed and re discussed a million times, but I am having a hard(impossible) time finding it right now. Those dimensions have been compared and discussed many times. Would encourage you to search. You'll get a lot more help if you do some of your own homework.
Ahem. I hate to start an argument, but...I have a 60 Travelette (body only) that I was going to use for a 4 door bobber project (now shelved).
I'd like to see that as well. But the shortbed J10 would not work unless you chopped the bed.Any pics of a J10\J20\Etc. with a M101 or M110x trailer as a pickup bed?
GL is Government Liquidation. They lost the surplus auction contract to GovPlanet a while back.Dumb question but who is GL ? looking for a trailer bed for my truck 1986 cucv
There have been a few threads on this subject, here's one:http://www.steelsoldiers.com/cucv/54810-m1028-m101a2-bed-pic.html
The M101 bed is a perfect fit for a pick-up. We used the M101A3 bed for a few reasons:
1) More interior distance between fenders.
2) Larger fender flares.
3) I got 4 of the bodies new from GL.
