The wife is pretty understanding about my hobbies...........so I am very fortunate!
We have this ongoing discussion regarding my hobbies though...........
I call them investments.......... (justifies the purchase)
She states that these are NOT investments.......because true investments are things you are willing to sell.
I let her know this investment is a WIDOW's RETIREMENT..........You know, when I am no longer here; she can sell them off

I told my sons that my goal in life is to live long enough to be a burden to them and die flat broke 
.
I told the old lady if she can't get by on the 500k life insurance I have, I hate it for her .
When I am gone the yard sale will last a week. Tools, guns, vehicles, books, Lionel trains, etc., etc., etc. HE WHO DIES WITH THE MOST TOYS WINS!!!!!
I do put back for hard times but I have never seen a Brinks truck in a funeral procession. I am going to spend some of my hard earned money on me. So much junk, so little time.
