TIM Module Problem

My TIM module boots up, displays the "TIM module working correctly" message, but will not allow me to do anything. Test and other buttons are unresponsive. Any ideas?

Module mounted outside under hood on passenger firewall close to middle is probably toasted. The boards commonly short out

Mine was completely fried.. Does anyone know if this will prevent the truck from starting? or where i could find one of these TIMs?

It absolutely will not interfere with truck starting or operation, it’s only an on-board diagnostic system for testing.
