Titling and licensing Humvee for the road?

I'm considering purchasing a Humvee but want to legally drive it on TX roads. any thoughts? Thanks!

[h=3]The HMMWV being sold are not to be titled and for off-road use only , buyers must sign a paper agreeing to this . If you want one for the road buy one that is already titled. I suspect this thread will get locked like these other ones.

So long as it's purchased from an individual and has a title already and is registered on the road that's what you need. But if we're talking on how to circumvent the contractual agreement attached to current GP/GL HMMWV auctions, then no, those aren't to be titled/registered on the road.
