torque rod nut

Is a torque rod nut something common a napa would have for a 939 truck? if not does anyone know a tap size for it. I have to get this truck ready for a vehicle day at the local elementary school

i probably have some you can have for the cost of shipping if you are referring to the slotted nuts on the dogbone that goes between the rr axle and the piece the rr springs pivot on.

Yes those are the ones. The one I got came off hard the whole way and i just dont trust it. The other one broke free and I spun it off by hand

Probably not Napa, those slotted nuts are huge, and also called castle nuts. The military part number is 7979183 if you can have them search. I bet expedited shipping would get you those overnight. Plenty of sources on a Google search, or Mikes offer seems to be the best choice.

well I defiantly appreciate that. smike740 will have me one by monday. The problem came in where I couldnt get the cotter pin out so i figured im replacing the bushing so ill just sheer it of and in doing so i tore the threads up on the nut so it was 100% operator error.
