Torsen differential carnage

Thought the group might appreciate this. Torsen diff was destroyed in service. Wheel teeth are stripped and some of the helical gears are as well. Fortunately the ring & pinion survived.

Going back together with new bearings and a replacement Torsen….

I thought those things were nearly indestructible, how did you manage that???

What exactly led you to this diagnosis? Mine sound funny at times ,,,

Axle stopped differentiation and would hard lock. Lots of metal in the oil.
