i have no use for a deuce. i have no need or reason to have one.
i REALLY want one. i figure its a 2 door convertible coupe with an inline 6 and a stickshift. like a bmw z3! [

problem is im having trouble finding info, specificly a basic buying guide. i want a soft top, prolly a winch, and might as well have a fording kit(you never know). i dont care about color, pedigree, history, collector value or that stuff. this will just be a fun weekend beater/offroader.
since, for me at least, this is a "dumb" purchase i wish to spend as little as i can. i plan on buying direct from auction if possible. this is where most of my questions lie. how do i find these things, and how do i go about choosing the right truck to buy? and how much do these trucks go for at auction? ive seen some "sales sheets" or whatever from years past showing these trucks going for around $1000 or less. im guessing thats changed since weve gone to war, though.
