Transmission trouble

I'm not sure if you can swap or not. Ive never needed to do it yet.

I Looked up the TCM in the -387-24P manual and it shows a different PROM chip for each different year.

Well it didnt get to a TCM swap i don't know what i did wrong when i checked the light, but when this first started i order a relay and a trans light, they got here last night, before trying a TCM swap i replaced both and the light is out, so i swapped out the relay with the old one and the light is still out. So i have no idea how i could have screwed up with the TC light but right now i dont care the light is out, Thank you all you gave the time to figure out this head scratcher with me.

Have you tried simply disconnecting the batteries, waiting a bit and reconnecting? Worked on mine, ran great, shifted great. Worth a shot.
