Thinking about bidding on a M105a trailer that's coming up to auction in the next state over( 400 miles away ) . Since this trailer is coming from government surplus there wont be any paper work immediately available to register in my state (NY) ahead of time. How do the majority of you get your trailers home once you won the auction. Thanks, Bill

Get a temp.tag from the local DMV that the trailer is in . Show them your paperwork and bill of sale and any insurance documents if needed and away you go , AFTER you PM the trailer . You can tow the 105 with a pick up , just need a hitch extension for the pintle height and a set of magnetic trailer lights . Just go easy as the 105 has some weight and it will have NO brakes .

A 105 will fit on a car hauling trailer, and can easily be loaded with just a come-along. Its a lot safer then trying to pull it with a pickup, since the trailer will have brakes.
