Some may remember my trip to Hooks, Texas, RRAD, to pick up the M35a2c. I drove it back to Telephone, Texas, in September, 2008, by just starting it up and heading home. The ultimate macho recovery.
Well in November NO BRAKES! about the third time it was moved around. I began planning to work on the brakes, what to get and so forth. This is on a very rural location, 15 miles from Bonham, Texas, a long way to tow a deuce.
Got too cold then it got too wet to go up to the farm. Finally, today sunny and warm weather, finally.
In the mean time I got to thinking, I really had not checked to see what specifically was wrong.
So, today I took a gallon of DOT 5 with me. Filled the MC.
You guessed it. Brakes working fine. Low on fluid. I guess I should have checked it before I drove it the 150 or so miles home.
