I have an M1123
NARTRON Smart Start System 12480779
Do I need a specific TSU part number to run the motor?

Can I use TSU: 2920-01-175-7214
or does it have to be the 12480779-2?

Just read my post on how to rebuild the PCB and lose the TCU. Call me if you don’t want to build it yourself and prefer for me to sell you a unit.

Screw the TCU and the integrated circuits that get fried. Pushbutton PCB is the way to go.

They are called “TSU” not TCU, TSU is Temp sending unit, all TSU’s are backwards compatible, the 2920-01-175-7214 is the OLD “glow Plug controller”, will not work with any model EESS or S3 EESS.
Any of the TSU’s are labeled as “Temp sending unit”
The 2920-01-175-7214 GPC was in fact just that, a glow plug controller and they failed often because of the heat, once they stop working the darn things fried all your glow plugs.
