Okay I'm getting desperate. I need this gasket. Tried White Owl, Boyce, OD Iron, Eastern Surplus. None of them have it or didn't respond to multiple e-mails. I'm wondering if anyone here has some or know of any cross over numbers to get at an auto part store.

The Part number is ...11677119

Also Im trying to find the Oil Supply Gasket....11642113

And Oil Return Gasket ....11642115

Thanks, and I hope this doesnt go against the for sale/want ads. If it does, let me know and I'll edit to make it not.

No amount of editing can make this not against the rules. Right at the top of every page it states, and I quote "For Sale Ads and/or Want Ads are NOT allowed to be posted in the forums. Please use the Classified Ads!" Only way to comply is to delete the thread.

Try Memphis. You don't have to have it. As long as the turbo outlet and the flex are flat and clean, the v-band clamp will seal the joint.

There is one way.

Forum Rules said:
It is OK to post an item for sale if it is done in an effort to help another member or if the need for a part comes up during the course of a restoration or repair thread. EXAMPLE 1: Member A posts that their Deuce is broken down and they believe it is due to a faulty in-tank pump. Member B may post that he has a used transfer pump for sale for $XX and to PM if interested. Example 2: Member A has an ongoing thread describing his M817 dump truck restoration. He mentions in that thread that one of his hydraulic lines is leaking and he would like to know who has the best price on them. "Swap Meet" style threads are allowed for parts swapping at a specific Rally/Event. Only one thread allowed per event.
If you give us some pictures of what your working on repairing and how your doing it, it would become a repair thread, then you mention you can find Part #XXXXXX, then someone could post a place to find it, because you can't find that part in the course of your repair.

I fully believe that the classified are good for selling things, but complete RUBBISH for finding things you need, that's why my M105A2 doesn't have a good cargo cover, because I posted a classified wanted post, and got nothing back. Fortunately the best way to get around the "No Want Ads" rule is to add useful content to the forum like "Heres some pics of X I'm working on like this. Oh by the way, does anyone know where I can find X?"

It's good for everyone, you figure out where to find your part, we get content and delicious pictures, and the mods move on because it's not blatantly breaking any rules.

Will is right. Clean the two parts with a wirebrush and the clamp should seal it.

Real good point Snarky but it's already a want ad. Delete it and start a resto thread and things will be fine.

These Guys are right, the Classifieds are no place to ask for a small parts and pieces. How about a WTB thread, with a cap on $ value? I saved someone's fanny a few weeks ago by posting a CAT p/n for a gasket. Guys don't look in the classifieds to help someone out on the small parts issues. Just a thought.2cents BTW Josh, wire brush and clamp, you'll be good to go. Just make sure both mating surfaces are flat.

Well the point of this thread to see if there are any Civy place to get the gaskets.

And I also tryied Saturn and Memphis. Dont know why I left them out.

And since I'm not entirly sure if how to delete a thread, if you feel its nessessary, then please take care of it, and I'll start a new thread or try too.

Josh,
Go to this website:
WBParts - Aircraft parts, military parts, NSN, National Stock Numbers, avionics, connectors, Aircraft parts and components
Enter your part number in the upper right hand corner of the page.
I checked and all 3 part numbers come up with the NSN number.
You can also enter the part number on the page after it searches and put your email address in and suposedly it will contact all the vendors that are registered with the site and see if they have what you're looking for. I've never tried it but see what happens and let us know if it works
