So I pulled the trigger. It’s due in the 1st of February. I designed a floor plan with separate bath and shower, master queen size bed, convertible dinette, and motorized bed above. It’s 2” sandwich panel walls, double pane windows, mini split ac, and diesel heater. 800ah batteries, 600watts solar, 55 gal fresh water 25 gal grey tank. It even has a washing machine lol.
It is designed to mount onto the 4 square holes in the bed and be removed with motorized legs like any other truck bed camper. I am planning to sell them but this is not a post about that. I’m just super excited about it.

Very interesting design. I do like the ability to remove from the bed so you can use the truck as a truck if you're in 1 spot for awhile

@Ned81 any update on the camper/habitat?
Its great! Taken it on a couple trips. No problems. The truck barely knows it’s back there. It’s been in the upper 90s-100s and the ac keeps it cold inside. I have a second floor plan in the works for a 1078. The bed and spare tire stuff have been removed and it will be mounted permanently with a subframe and pass through.
