Turn Signal Control Arm Bulb Replacement?

The bulb inside the turn signal control arm seems to have died. All exterior safety lights work as they should. How does one replace the bulb? I’m sure it’s easy but feel like I’m about to break something. I’ve got an M1123 if it matters. Thanks for the help as I’m new to the game!

Green cap pulls off and bulb is underneath, push and twist bulb out. I changed my bulb and it still doesn’t work, took it apart and clean the contacts and put a new bulb in it and it still doesn’t work. Let me know if a bulb fixes yours. I have M1123 also

Usually you use the thin silver wire to pull off the green cover and pop out the old bulb and replace with new bulb. Then replace the green cover.

Edit- Max beat me to it

If you use an LED bulb it must have "reverse polarity" the brass shell is the positive, the lead contact on the end is negative.
I used the same led bulb as the dash bulbs. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t work? I have no idea what the original bulbs is and I couldn’t read the numbers on the old bulb

The original bulb is the same as the dash bulbs and does not have a polarity like a LED bulb. You can pull one out of your dash to test it.

They are backwards in polarity as the dash bulbs, I am not totally sure why everyone has a big desire for LED bulbs, most you find nowadays are crud (is that OK moderator?) and do not last as long as an incandescent, just get some incandescent bulbs....
This of course does not apply to the "real"LED lamps like turn signal and side marker lamps.

I just want normal bulb for my indicator but my dash is much brighter with the leds. I couldn’t see my gauges at night and I had to take my eyes off road for too long to read gauges

The top one says it is for the indicator arm. I found it on Mac Motors but I need to get a 20$ minimum order. Thank you so much, I have been looking for that bulb a long time.

search epay for “24v bulb 1873”. You can get 10 bulbs delivered for about $11.

but if you search for “ms25231-1873”, they want $77 for 10 bulbs!

Not one bulb came up from eBay search. I really struggle to find stuff on there and maybe it’s because of the eBay app on my phone
Lots of bulbs came up but all led headlights mostly
