Hello all,

I recently was digging through a building piled to the ceiling with stuff, buried underneath was this engine is a crate. I’ve tried to do some research but no success, what is it? NSN number on the crate is 2815-00-932-4727. What does this thing go to?

It is made by General Motors Diesel ( as it says on the valve cover). It appears to be a 2 stroke 4-53 engine. I tried both NSN's but no joy. Small engines like this could be used in water pumps, generators, even small vehicles. What it was used for specifically, I don't know.
